Video Visitation
The DeKalb County Jail has a video visitation platform. Anyone wanting to visit an inmate at the DeKalb County Jail should visit www.icsolutions.com for scheduling instructions and visiting times.
- Maximum security inmates are only permitted visitation between 8am-12pm daily (Privileged visits are an exception: attorney, DCS, Community Corrections, etc.)
- Video terminals are located in the sheriff's office lobby that allow for two free visits per week
- You may visit an inmate from anywhere using an Android, iOS device, or Windows computer for a fee of $7.50 per thirty minutes
Scheduling Visitations
All visits must be scheduled at least 12 hours prior to the appointment and up to 2 weeks in advance.
Important Rules
- CHECK-IN: 10 minutes prior to scheduled visit
- If an inmate is in ANY program (court, trustee assignments, attorney visits, church, G.E.D, parenting, or MRT class), they are NOT eligible to receive the visit at that time. Please schedule your visits around the inmate's program schedule.
- Staff can deny, change, or cancel a visit at any time
- The cost to visit from home is $7.50 for 30 minutes
If a visitor does not show up for a scheduled video visitation session, no refund will be issued.
If a visitor loses internet connection during an offsite video visitation session, the visitor will not be allowed to reconnect and no refund will be issued. The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office has no control over the visitor's internet connection.
Visitors who arrive after the schedule start time may not be allowed to visit.

Inmates are provided with tablets and are able to access the law library, educational programs, and other free content. Movies and music can also be purchased through commissary.
