Not everyone can be a member of the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office. The work can be rigorous and even dangerous at times. Paid Time Off (PTO)
Sheriff’s Office employees receive PTO on the following schedule:
After 6 months of service - 5 days
After 1 completed year - 10 days
2-4 years of service - 15 days
5-9 years of service - 20 days
10-14 years of service - 25 days
15-19 years of service - 30 days
20 or more years of service - 35 days
13 Paid Holiday’s a year
