Inmate Funds & Payments
A personal trust account will be maintained for each inmate that will include all money collected that the inmate had on them at the time of book-in and also any money that is deposited for an inmate while they are confined at this facility. This can be used for phone calls, bonds, or commissary purchases. Examples of commissary items that may be purchased are hygiene items, necessary clothing items, snacks, pens, paper, movies, music or messaging on the provided tablet.
During booking, any cash an inmate has on them is automatically placed on their account. Also, friends or family members can deposit additional money on the inmate’s account.
You can deposit money on an inmate’s account by any of the following ways:
Use the kiosk in the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office lobby.
Payment can be made by cash or credit card.

Money orders are not accepted at the jail.
Commissary orders are delivered to inmates in C, D, E, & F blocks on Thursdays
Commissary orders are delivered to inmates in A, B, G, & H blocks on Fridays
Inmates must place their commissary order by noon on Wednesday to receive commissary that week.
Inmates in disciplinary housing are not permitted commissary food items.
Secure Paks
Secure Paks are additional items that can only be purchased by friends or family of inmates .
All orders must be submitted by midnight Thursday, with delivery the following Tuesday and delivery to inmate on Wednesday.
This is in addition to the weekly commissary orders.

Monies sent to inmates can be used on commissary items picked out and ordered by the inmates, Secure Paks are items picked out and purchased by family or friends and sent by the company to the inmates.
